Chloe Greenwood and myself welcomed in 18 people to a taster session in Elgin Library.

There was a great mix of backgrounds and interests which we had the joy of hearing about during the introductions.  We tried to capture a bit of the rich mix in here:-

We did a mini U process during the day with highlights being the listening exercise and a super standing meditation led by Chloe.

It’s always impossible to capture the energy in a room in a blog post but some of the things which stuck with me are:-

• “I knew idea was just up there waiting to be taken down”
• “lots of like-minded people sharing visions”
• “making small change”
• “what difference am I making”
• “transformational change always involves pain”
• “why do we put things in boxes”
• “it all comes back to wellbeing and if Ulab isn’t about that I don’t know what is”
• “it’s all the same thing, there is only one resource which is ourselves”
• “You cannot solve a problem from the same consciousness that created it” – Einstein.

we enjoyed watching the 3 minute U lab video and had a great discussion about pressure and the fall of the Berlin wall.

It was also awesome to see connections being made around the room – with offers of rooms being freed up for hubs.  The true power of these sort of events!
